In accordance with European Regulation no. 679/2016 (hereinafter referred to as “Regulation”), TEOM SRL invites you to carefully read this Privacy Policy, as it contains important information on the protection of the personal data we collect when you visit our website, www.teom.it (hereinafter referred to as “website”), and how the same is processed.
Such information is provided exclusively for the www.teom.it website.
Personal data processing includes any operation, or set of operations, carried out with or without the support of automated processes and applied to personal data or personal data sets: such operations are, for example, data collecting, recording, organising, structuring, archiving, adapting or modifying, extracting, consulting, using, communicating via transmission, disclosing or submitting in any other way, comparing or interconnecting, limiting, deleting or destroying.

We inform you that, every time you visit our website, TEOM S.r.l. will exclusively process the following personal data (art. 4(1) of the Regulation):
Browsing data
During everyday operations, the IT systems and software allowing our website to work gather some personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. Such data is not collected in order to be associated with identified subjects: this type of information, by its very nature, makes it possible to identify users through its processing and association with data held by third parties. This data category includes IP addresses or the domain name of the computer used by a given person to connect to the website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, request time, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server’s response (successful, error etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment. This type of data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on website browsing, making sure it is working properly and identifying any anomalies and/or abuse: it is deleted immediately after processing. The data may be used by the authorities to ascertain responsibility in case a cybercrime is committed against the website.

By accepting these conditions, the user agrees to the processing of his/her personal data, in accordance with Legislative Decree no. 196/03, for the purposes referred to in the General Conditions. TEOM S.r.l. commits to not using the addresses provided by the customer at the time of registration or information request for commercial or marketing purposes, both in paper and electronic format, unless the customer has explicitly requested it.
The extent and type of data entered by the user are at his/her discretion, with the sole exception of the minimum data required for registration, and are intrinsically related to the purposes of the information request. Processed personal data will be archived and monitored based on the knowledge acquired as technologies evolve, on the nature of such data and the specific processing characteristics: as a result, by adopting appropriate and preventive safety measures, we minimise the (even accidental) risk of data destruction or loss, unauthorised access, unauthorised processing or processing that does not comply with data collection purposes. The information provided by the customer will be processed by TEOM S.r.l.’s website administrators: the latter have been specifically entrusted with data processing under supervision.
In compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679, the customer may at any time request the modification or deletion of his/her personal data by clicking the dedicated button within the personal account section or sending a request to info@teom.it.
Data provided voluntarily by the user
In addition to the above-mentioned specifications concerning browsing data, the user is free to provide the personal data categories mentioned in the website’s CONTACT FORM. Failure to provide such data may result in TEOM S.r.l. not being able to provide the requested service. In this case, only the information specifically needed for the requested service will be asked for (for further detail, see relevant information notices).
Should you, while using some of the website’s services, send third-party personal data to TEOM S.r.l., you will be legally deemed to be the related Data Controller and will assume all legal obligations and responsibilities in this respect. In this sense, you confer the broadest indemnity on TEOM S.r.l. with particular reference to any objection, claim, compensation request relating to a GDPR breach offence etc. sent to TEOM S.r.l. by third parties whose personal data was processed due to your use of the website’s functions in violation of applicable personal data protection regulations.
In any case, should you provide or otherwise process third-party data while using our website, you guarantee, from now on and assuming all related responsibilities, that this specific processing hypothesis presents appropriate legal basis in compliance with art. 6 of the Regulation, which legitimates the processing of said information.
TEOM S.r.l. does not collect and process sensitive data on its website: such data include racial and ethnic origins, religious, philosophical or other convictions, political opinions, whether or not a user is a member of a party, trade union, religious/philosophical/political/trade union association or organisation as well as the user’s health and sexual orientation. TEOM S.r.l. only collects personal data that is strictly needed to provide the requested services.
Data is processed and stored for a period of time that corresponds to the purposes for which it is collected. Therefore:
Personal data collected for purposes relating to the execution of a contract between the Data Controller and the User will be retained until said contract is fully executed. Personal data collected for purposes attributable to the Data Controller’s legitimate interest will be retained until such interest is fulfilled. The user may find further information regarding the Data Controller’s legitimate interest in the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Data Controller.
When data processing is based on the user’s consent, the Data Controller may retain personal data for a longer period of time, until such consent is revoked. Furthermore, the Data Controller may be obliged to keep personal data for a longer period of time in order to comply with the law or competent authorities’ orders. Such data will be deleted at the end of the retention period. Therefore, at the end of this period, the user will no longer be able to exercise his/her access, deletion, modification and portability rights.
The processing of personal data we intend to perform, with your specific consent where necessary, has the following purposes:
The processing’s legal basis corresponds to the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at the user’s request (art. 6(1)(b) of the Regulation), as data processing is necessary in order to provide the service. The submission of personal data for these purposes is optional, but failure to provide it may result in the website not being able to activate its services.
Collected personal data is mainly processed at the Data Controller’s headquarters and in the places where Data Processors are located.
The Data Controller adopts appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, modification or destruction of personal data. Processing is performed using IT, telematic and paper tools and the organisational methods and rationale are strictly related to the aforementioned purposes.

Subjects authorised by TEOM S.r.l. to process personal data needed to perform activities that are strictly related to the provision of the company’s services; such persons must have committed themselves to confidentiality or be subject to legally appropriate confidentiality obligations (e.g. administrative, sales, marketing and legal personnel, system administrators, consultants).
Third parties that may be involved in the website’s management: these typically act as Data Processors. Subjects, institutions or authorities to whom it is mandatory to disclose your personal data in compliance with the law or said authorities’ orders.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS PURSUANT TO ART. 15 ET SEQ. OF THE REGULATION
In accordance with art. 15 et seq. of the Regulation, you have the right to access your personal data at any time, ask that the same be modified or deleted or not consent to its processing; you have the right to request limited processing in the cases provided for by art. 18 of the Regulation, as well as to receive, in the cases provided for by art. 20 of the Regulation, your data in a structured, commonly used format that can be read on an automatic device.

In any case, you always have the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (the Italian Data Protection Authority) in accordance with art. 77 of the Regulation if you think that the processing of your personal data violates applicable laws and regulations.
AMENDMENTS
This Privacy Policy becomes effective as of June 13, 2018. TEOM S.r.l. reserves the right to modify or simply update its content, both partially and entirely, including when applicable regulations are amended: TEOM S.r.l. will promptly inform its users by updating this page and, if technically and legally appropriate, by sending a notification via one of the user’s contact details provided to the Data Controller. Amendments will become binding as soon as they are published on the website.
